18 ways to make your kids eat vegetables: http://healthymamainfo.com/2011/10/eighteen-ways-to-make-your-kids-eat-vegetables/
My new little baby girl, Braylee loves just about anything she can get her hands on!, but her favorite for the moment is probably pears.
I have a 6 year old who is soooo picky, if he even suspects there are any veggies in his food he will go make himself a PB&J sandwhich. He will inspect his food before he even takes the first bite. I’m going to have to try some of these. Also I’ve discovered that buying Fruitables is a great way to get him a serving of fruits and veggies without his knowledge. Fruitables is a 100% juice that tastes like normal apple or mixed berry juice.
Great post! I had a lot of leftover jars of baby food (thanks to the WIC program and so me generous friends) and at first I was like, “What am I going to do with these?” I Freecycled a bunch and then I remembered that I use applesauce in muffin/bread recipes, so why not try pears? I also threw in jars of pureed carrots when making spaghetti sauce – it cuts the acidity without adding (white) sugar. I put pureed sweet potatoes in my chili – it added a really lovely nuance, sort of creamy and hard to describe, but really really good! I wish I’d have thought of putting pureed peas with noodles like a pesto. : ) Thankfully, both my boys (now 4 and 2 1/2) are really good eaters. They love their fruits and vegetables. I was a bit worried about the younger one, but now he chows down on fresh broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots and I don’t even have to tempt him with ranch dressing. : )
Thanks a lot for sharing this with all people you actually understand what you’re speaking approximately! Bookmarked. Kindly also seek advice from my website =). We could have a hyperlink trade contract among us
